For over 30 years, Laura has worked as an internal and external consultant.  Internally, Laura has worked with leaders in not-for-profits, as well as publicly traded and privately owned companies including the American Red Cross, Cox Communications, Denny’s Restaurants, Lincoln Financial Company, Oriental Trading Company and PayPal (an eBay Company).  As an external consultant, Laura is engaged to support leadership development through the use of planned curriculum that applies adult learning principle and practices.  Laura is certified to administer and interpret diagnostic instruments such as Emergenetics and the Meyers Briggs Type Indicator. She utilizes these tools to better diagnose and remedy the challenges organizations face today.

In the arena of organizational development, Laura facilitates strategic planning retreats, interpersonal and group process approaches, large-scale change initiatives, organizational redesign processes and performance management. Laura has worked globally in Europe and Asia and is known for helping leaders create a plan for managing change and fostering collaborative relationships across an enterprise. Laura holds an M.Ed from the University Nebraska Lincoln, a BA in Organizational Communication from California State University, Sacramento, and is a certified SPHR professional. Laura is also a program leader for the Institute of Career Advancement Needs (ICAN), Women’s Leadership Circles and Defining Leadership for Women.
